Brazil leads the preferences with Búzios, Rio and Camboriú at the front. Argentina is back on the radar and Mexico consolidates its place among the favourites.
Argentina, Búzios and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Peru and Mexico are emerging as the main destinations chosen by Chilean tourists for this summer season. At Vivencias Travel we are seeing sustained and growing demand for international destinations.
Brazil remains the big player
Brazil clearly leads the preferences of Chilean travellers. Destinations such as Búzios — which never goes out of fashion — Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis and Camboriú account for most of the bookings.
"Brazil is the main trend. Destinations like Búzios, which never goes out of fashion, or Rio de Janeiro," says Lucas Lopes, Head of Sales at Vivencias Travel. "We have frozen the 2025 season prices, so the best thing to do is book now."
The profile of today's Chilean traveller
Trips average between 6 and 8 nights, with a marked preference for all-inclusive packages. "Holidays are very valuable; it is about making the most of your time with advice from people who work in the industry."
Mexico — especially the Riviera Maya — the Dominican Republic and Peru complete the ranking of most booked destinations. The key: book early to get the advance-sale prices.
